Our Florida-grown and made Demerara sugar crystals are from the “first press” from the actual cane juice. This means that it is of the highest quality, with lots of complex flavor. The flavor experience from these sugar crystals includes notes of delicate apple, pear, banana, vanilla, and butterscotch. This specific crystal was carefully chosen for its flavor and aroma, and is what we use to make our rum! We also use it in our mojitos, for a wonderfully complex finish! Enjoy!
